The sepia colour is original. The presence of the harbour wall confirms that the photograph was taken after 1906 and the tractor suggests that it was taken significantly later than that. In fact the half demolished state of the smokehouse on Dunstanburgh Road suggests the image dates to the n the early 50's. If you can tell us anything about this image, please get in touch.
